Chiropractic Adjustments
There are several styles of adjusting within the Chiropractic profession, this can be confusing to someone who is new to the Chiropractic experience. A Chiropractic Adjustment restores a subluxated or misaligned veterbrae to its anatomical alignment, therefore restoring proper nervous system communication.
Generally there are 3 different ways to adjust the spine:
- Hands on Approach
- A specifically designed table that assists using gravity
- A specifically designed instrument that assists with the adjustment
At Peninsula Family Chiropractic, we can use all three different ways to adjust the spine, after the initial consultation, Dr. Bains will be able to determine which style is appropriate for you.
Spinal Decompression Therapy
Non – invasive Spinal Decompression therapy provides relief from bulged or herniated discs, as well as many other spinal conditions
Cranial Adjusting Turner Style
Cranial Adjusting Turner Style otherwise known as CATS, is a system of healing that subtly affects the flow of cerebral spinal fluid. Gentle pressure is applied to different areas of the skull, many patients find CATS to be very relaxing.
CATS can be used to help treat patients suffering from headaches/migraines, insomnia, trauma, mental alertness and developmental challenges
Orthotics
At Peninsula Family Chiropractic, we use The Orthotic Group Computerized Dynamic Pressure Plate System. This allows us to analyse your feet in a standing position as well as your dynamic (movement) gait. In addition we take a cast of your feet to get the most customized Orthotic for each patient.
Spinal Screenings
